The Bible encourages us all to WAIT on the LORD. In the book of Lamentations, chapter 3, verses 25-26, reminds us that “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him. To the soul who seeks hope and wait quietly.” Most of life itself is about waiting. It’s one of those moments where God is testing our patience and our Faith in HIM. Maybe you’re reading this blog today waiting for unanswered prayers, tests results or how to make ends meet while the SNAP programs are being held hostage by this administration.
For some of us, the idea of waiting for something seems so far away. I hope my words of encouragement today will inspire you to wait just a little while longer. God works through our waiting in order to grow us up in one of those Fruit of the Spirit…Patience. In the book of Galatians, 6:9 says, “Let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season, we shall reap , if we faint not.” Waiting has a way of correcting one’s motives and forces our motives into a state of humility and that’s when we realize that God is always in Control!
I want to leave you with these three things…
- Wait for the LORD despite delays. Keep praying to God. God delays are not alway denials because there are times God will say no but we must Wait to get some clarity from the LORD.
- Know that in spite of what’s happening with this Government, Isaiah 9:6 reminds us that the THE GOVERNMENT IS ON JESUS’ SHOULDERS! God’s timing is always perfect and He will always come at the right time in your life
- Psalm 27:14, encourages us all to Wait for the Lord despite any difficulties you might be going through today. “Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; WAIT, I say, on the LORD!”
As “WE THE PEOPLE” are about to Wait Out the next couple of years of this administration, know that God has not forgotten about you. HE is still on the throne. The repercussions we are experiencing today from Project 2025 is targeting the same people JESUS stood up for. The marginalized, disenfranchised, the exploited, disabled and the poor. Jesus said, in Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you whatever you do to the least of these, you did it to me.”
May the strength of God sustain you. May the Power of God preserve you. May the hands of God protect you. May the LOVE of GOD go with you this day and forevermore. In Jesus Name. AMEN.
